It is found in the southern Krasnojarsk region (Minussinsk) and Chitinskaja oblast in Siberia,〔 ''et al.'' 2010: The gelechiid fauna of the southern Ural Mountains, part II: list of recorded species with taxonomic notes (Lepidoptera: Gelechiidae). There are two yellowish white patches at two-thirds and an indistinct white fascia at three-fourths. The hindwings are grey.
